Pie Recipe

There are songs about pie. There are movies about pie. There are pie eating contests, pie making contests and pie throwing contests. There is a pie for every fruit, custard and pudding. There are sweet pies, and savory pies. Fresh pies and cooked pies. There is a pie for every day of the week for the next thirty years. Of course, we haven´t listed out every pie that has ever been made, but we think we´ve picked some pretty tasty pies for you to try. Sure, this was a pretty easy job and the glory was there for the picking. Really, have you ever tried a bad pie? We haven´t.

Pie has been around in some form, well....for as long as we can remember. While we aren´t food historians, we do know that grandmother´s and great mommy´s have been making pie as long as there have been eager children and hungry adults to eat them. Nowadays, the pie making few have turned into the pie making masses with a variety of genders, ages and races. A fresh pie is a wonderful way to break the ice with company, or impress a dinner date. Young men of the world, take note. Everyone should learn to make a pie.

And that is why we do it. It was a tough job tasting all of these wonderful pies to make certain that they were up to our standards. But somehow we made it through and we think you´ll like each and every one of them. If you have a favorite pie, let us know!
